Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information collected during a visit, why it is used, and the limited circumstances in which another party may receive it. By continuing to use Worth County Court Docket, you agree to these practices.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. We neither record nor retain those search terms on our systems.

Messages and Contact Submissions

We retain an email or contact message as needed to answer it. The message remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Data We Gather Automatically

When a page loads, the server automatically receives certain technical details about the visit:

  • The IP address assigned to your device
  • Which browser you are using and its version
  • Your device type and operating system
  • The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
  • The site that sent you here, if any
  • Timestamps for each page view

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small files saved on a device. We and our analytics services use them to measure traffic in aggregate, such as popular pages and exit points. Browser controls can block cookies, although doing so may change how parts of the site function.

What We Do With This Data

  • Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
  • Sending your search requests to the right partner service
  • Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
  • Tracking down and fixing technical issues
  • Showing ads that may line up with your interests

No Court-Record Data on File

Worth County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of case records or court dockets. It provides general directions to Worth County custodians, including the Clerk of Superior Court and the courts that keep their own files. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is never assembled into a consumer report or a record about another person.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and disclosure rules, so review those terms before searching.

Links to Other Websites

Links may lead to Georgia courts, the Worth County clerk, PeachCourt, legal-aid resources, or commercial search providers. Once an external page opens, that operator's policy controls the visit. Review it before providing personal information.

Some advertising companies may use their own systems to follow activity across websites for targeted advertising.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:

  • Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
  • Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
  • Ad networks that place ads on our pages
  • Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it

How We Protect Your Data

We use customary safeguards for information under our control. No internet service is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur.

Users Under 18

This service is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor supplied such data, we will delete it promptly.

Your Data Rights

Georgia law may provide additional privacy and consumer protections. The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-18-70 et seq., governs qualifying requests to public agencies, not private visitor data held by this website. At a minimum, you can:

  • Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
  • Have us fix information that is wrong
  • Request that we erase your data
  • Opt out of certain kinds of data processing

Updates to This Policy

We may revise this policy. A new version becomes available on this page with an updated effective date.
